Looking For Re-furb Project In Bkk

Hi , i have been in Pattaya now for about 14 months and had a few condos here , i just sold most of them and am looking for a re-furb project somewhere good in BKK , I have been up to BKK a lot lately but find it hard to get a grasp of all the locations , now normally i would move there for about 6 months and get the lay of the land , but needs must and i would like to buy somewhere straight away instead of renting for a while .

I am bassically looking for a older condo building popular with Falang and maybe Thai with decent size studios or one bedroom units , i am not looking for anything re-furbed all ready , i want something old or in shell form that i can tottaly re-furb myself .

My budget is about 1.5 to 2 mil or a little more if worth the extra .

I would not be surprised if i was wasting my time completely with this budget as everything i have seen so far seems to be double Pattaya prices .

So any suggestions as usual would be greatly appreciated , or if i am tottally wasting my time please tell me .
