Three Technicians Injured As They Erect Radio Transmitter At Police Box.

Featured Replies

Sawang Boriboon Rescue Workers received an urgent call to attend a Police Box located in Soi Loy Lang in Naklua after three technicians had been injured as they were erecting a radio transmission tower.

The incident occurred on Monday Evening and resulted in burn injuries sustained by Khun Somporn aged 39 who sustained burns in his hands and legs, Khun Moragort aged 23 who sustained a suspected fractured skull and burns to his feet and Khun Rachapoon aged 33 who sustained burns to his hands and feet.

All three men were not seriously injured and are expected to make full recoveries.

Hope the injured recover with no lasting effects. Seldom do you hear of single critters, much less 3, getting tangled up in electric wires as they seem to know not to touch wire and ground or 2 wires at same time, then along come 3 (techs) and manage to bungle it super time. Guess we blame the tower for being too long.

dont know the full details but a thai police friend of mine has been in hospital for 4 days after having an electrical shock in the police box.my info is that a cable dropped on the box causing the shock.will get the details when he is out of hospital tomorrow.
