Buying A King's Tie

Featured Replies

I have been looking to buy a Tie with the King's crest on it. I have seen then somewhere before, nice bright yellow tie with the crest on the bottom part. Does anyone know where (if any) places sell such things in Chiang Mai, and how much they might be?

Thanks!

I saw one at Kad Suan Kaew in that big clothing store... what is it called... Central? You know, the big one.

Yep, Central's good for ties as is Robinson's in Airport Plaza. The aforementioned also currently has a stall set up near the main till in B2S (bookshops, 4th floor) selling monarchy merchandise... ie, lots of yellow :o

I am fairly sure I saw one a few months back in a thai/tie shop right beside Thapae Gate (next to internet shop & on the moat side of the road). The only problem was they were a bit cheap/nasty looking - can't remember the cost though.

Thanks, I have checked out Central, while they were nice, they didn't have just a plain yellow with the crest, many of them were brightly colored, with stripes, thai flag colors, etc...

If anyone seeing just plain bright yellow with the crest at the bottom or near bottom please let me know! I'll try to check out Thaphae Gate this week, and hit Airport if I have time. Thanks for the suggestions!
