siam4ever
I'm completing an escrow and need some notarized documents shipped to the US. Does anyone know if the terrorists are blocking cargo flights as well as passenger flights?
bubba
No cargo flights (including Fedex, DHL, UPS, etc.) are arriving or departing, same as passenger flights.

Dakhar
pondering about this question, the media did state the control towers have been abandoned.... without those, I imagine all flights are off.

PeaceBlondie
A regular poster reports having lots of orchids, shipped out of Thailand for export, stranded at Suvanabum.
h90
Yes all my fedex from yesterday are stuck because the freedom fighters are blocking it.
Heng
Yeah, that would be me. Cargo flights are typically the same flights that passengers use. The postal service here doesn't own any planes, they use commercial flights. DHL/Fedex/etc. are all backed up as well. Tick tock, my flowers can sit a week before I scrap the orders and credit our customers (because they can sit around for two weeks once cut and treated). Still taking orders, but asking for flexible delivery (and not ordering any new flowers cut at the farm) at the moment.
nullx8
it does not make any sense for "no cargo" .. besides the fact to make the situation more serious ... well TNT, DHL and Fedex operating just as normal ... i just recieved a fax from TNT ... packages from taiwan waiting for customs clearance at survanabumi ... also fedex tracking for other packages out of thailand show they arrived or in another country already.
