The Decline in AN Site Traffic?
In theory, yes, but you are probably a minority in that category. Most people probably only put a few on ignore. Basically, I don't think it really makes an overall difference to site traffic. We are talking about a decline of possibly thousands of visitors. -

Health Thai Man's Unusual Self-Treatment Sparks Medical Warning
Photo by rattanakun via Canva In a startling medical case in Thailand, a doctor has issued a cautionary message after a patient injected sperm into his body to alleviate back pain, an unorthodox method that led to severe complications. Dr Werasak Charaschaidri brought the case to public attention on social media, highlighting the unusual self-treatment attempted by a 33-year-old man. Although the patient's nationality was not disclosed, the story has captured widespread interest. The patient sought hospital care after suffering from chronic lower back pain, which had escalated to noticeable swelling and redness in the area. Upon examination, the medical team discovered that he had been injecting sperm into his arms and legs for over a year and a half, believing this would remedy his discomfort. When questioned about his reasoning, the patient admitted that he had devised the idea independently and continued the practice without any medical guidance. A CT scan soon revealed the presence of a subcutaneous abscess, a collection of pus beneath the skin, which had developed as a result of his actions. The medical team swiftly drained the abscess and administered intravenous antibiotics to combat the bacterial infection, which was traced back to the non-sterile nature of the injections. Dr Werasak, who learnt of the case from multiple reliable sources, expressed that while he did not directly treat the patient, the account serves as a pertinent medical warning. The story, he acknowledged, might ignite debate, a response he considers part of healthy academic discussion. This incident underscores the potential dangers of self-treatment without professional advice, particularly using unverified and hazardous methods. By sharing the case, Dr Werasak hopes to caution others against similar attempts, encouraging individuals to seek proper medical consultation for health issues. Additionally, this case raises awareness of the importance of responsible health practices and the risks of improvising treatments without evidence-based understanding. The medical outcome serves as a reminder of the critical necessity for professional healthcare intervention, reinforcing the point that self-diagnosis and treatment can often lead to more harm than good. Amidst the unusual circumstances, this story acts as a striking notification to prioritise informed medical care, avoiding detrimental practices that can lead to serious health consequences. Do Phuket condos actually go up in price over the years?
In 1998, I bought a 127 sq m Condo in Patong furnished for 6 million Thb, 13 years later I sold that same Condo for 14 million Thb. Am still of the opinion that it was a very good deal. -

Trouble sleeping, solutions?
Just some random ideas. Do you know what is waking you up? Perhaps an effort to make sure you aren't woken in the first place could help. Ear plugs, blackout blinds, etc. Have you tried going to bed later? Perhaps that might help. Although if you're struggling to keep your eyes open at 10-11, that might be difficult. Temperature? Some need a nice cool room and to then feel warm under a blanket. Also, you could try putting on a podcast or something when you wake up, as that might help you get back to sleep. -
