Flights To Uk

Featured Replies

Hello.

I'm in the process of looking for cheap return flights to the UK for my family.

Do you perhaps know of a good agent in BKK that can offer cheap, reliable flights?

Please supply address and/or telephone number.

Thank you

Leprechaun........you didnt mention your budget nor whether you want a direct flight.

Here are 2 agents I always use

Reliance Holidays (Thailand) Ltd Tel : +662 203 0088

Ask for Khun Usa at Ext 230

Topline Ticketing

Tel : +662 860 1515

Ask for Khun Suporn

I believe some of the airlines offer better prices if you book online, much better than the agents. Visit www.emirates.com.

Good luck! :o

you're unlikely to get cheaper deals for long haul flights. You'll find that all the agents offer basically the same price for each airline, because they're all hooked up to the same computer network. As i recall, the cheapest airline to the u.k was china airlines. emirates is also quite cheap.

Apparently Phuket Air is cheap, ranging around THB25,000 return depending on season.

Emirates is only cheap if you book online. The agents here charge an arm and a leg !!! I got mine through Emirates online booking for THB26,700 (all inclusive) in November return with a 2 hour stopover in Dubai for shopping!!! :o The agent wanted THB32,000 excluding tax.

You didnt say when you are going?

I intend to fly around March/April and return just after Christmas. Plenty of time yet. I need to check with the school that I'm working at to see if these dates are suitable, if not I'm flexible to some degree.

Have found so far that the cheapest on line ticket is with emerates at 32,000 Baht.

I know that I can get cheaper, hence the orginal question asking for reliable agents. :o

my usual agent quoted me 29.7k baht return to gatwick via phuket airways - leaving last saturday night, returning tuesday evening - for a friend.

Are ya back at work tomorrow? Thought maybe you were leaving us soon for the sunnier climate of the Uk?

it was for a friend - i'd never consider going back to uk unless it was in a business class box. (aisle box mind)

Hi Jockstar.

In answer to your question I'll be back on Thursday. Didn't want to pass on this flu virus to my students. No, I'm not doing a 'Sally'.

See you later :o

Leprechaun...........you didnt book it right with Emirates. I tried a booking as follows :-

Route : BKK-Dubai-London Gatwick-Dubai-BKK

Dep BKK 22 Mar at 1.20am

Rtn 3 Apr at 9.15pm

Total was THB28,470.00 (all inclusive)

I didnt know when you intended to travel but you mentioned Mar/Apr. THB32,000 is outrageous and must be through an agent.

I heard Phuket Air is horrible and about the same price.

If you need help, SHOUT!! :o
