I taught last year and then I was finished with my contract in April. I took a job with a place that told me they would start to process my visa after they hired me in May, but they never did anything. That was one of many reasons that I quit that job.

Now I have started a new job, at what seems so far to be a very decent school with small classes and reasonable work loads etc.... but I just finish my 90 day tourist visa on the 10th of December. So, I have a couple of questions.

Number one is the place where my visa will need to get processed at Poipet going to be open on the 10th of december, as it is constitution day? AND

Is it true? I will only be allowed 15 days? and if so, how am I supposed to give my passport to my school officals to get the paper work started on my work permit\non O visa which they told me will take 21 days? I was already thinking about this as I have just started here this week and the holidays are coming up. I am not sure how "on the ball" this school is about this stuff, as it is (it seems like a good school with a good Farang staff but I don't know about the Thais as I have already heard about communication problems).

I really can't afford to do 2 runs this month. :o

Thanks in advance for your replies.

You will have to do a visa run, instead of a border run and get a tourist visa or proper non-b with the documents from your school.

so, at my last job I had more than 21 days and got the non B (I meant non B in the first post where I said O BTW) in bangkok I won't be able to do that this time because I wont have I wont have 21 days on my stamp to do it?

Also I will just be finishing a 3 month tourist visa are you allowed back to back ones? I can't imagine that my new school will want to have me off for 3 days during exam week or have all the paper work together by wednesday when I have to go plus it is more costly and I can't really afford that much more on a trip right now.
