Question With Booking With This Site

Featured Replies

I found a nice budget hotel on phuket.be which goes to r24.org/phuket.be/

Is it safe to book here? it asked me for a 5,000 baht deposit and the rest of the money by Jan 10,2009

Has anyone had experience using this website and deposit system? Wondering if i'll run into any problems/scams.

Thanks

I don't know about this site but if you are not sure about that go for hotel.travel.com (a bit more expensive but safe) or (as in your case this is a budget hotel) I would try to find the number and call the hotel

I found the hotel on agoda.com but i got to pay in advance and don't have the money yet. (booking 20 nights). If anyone else has any experience with this site please let me know.

http://kohsamui.org/ also uses the same system it looks like.

I have used them in excess of 20 times without any problems.

The only times I have not used them is when I have booked with a hotel directly.

Your deposit will be safe.

I have used agoda.com many times in the last 2 years, no problem with them so far.  Booked once with a company called travelbox.com and did have problems getting my money refunded when they at first confirmed/paid a hotel booking with Novatel, and the hotel told me on check in they never accept bookings with this company. Got a refund eventually.
