In the early hours of Thursday Morning, Pattaya Police organized an undercover drug operation at the Caltex Petrol Station in North Pattaya.

The target was a suspected drug dealer who was lured to the location by an undercover officer posing as a drugs buyer. The target, Khun Somai aged 35, a former Police Volunteer, arrived at the location as planned and a drugs transaction took place.

Police then moved in and arrested the man who was caught in possession of a loaded gun and 2 packets weighting 1.7g of Crystal Methamphetamine, known in Thailand as “Ya Ice”. He was later charged with dealing in a class 1 drug and will appear in court next week.
