scotsman Posted December 7, 2008 Share Posted December 7, 2008 Hi rickthailand You can own the house in your name don't need a Usufruct and you will get the yellow book as proof of ownership of that house from the land department but I would get a good English speaking Lawyer to help you with all this. The land can then be put in your g/f name with a Usufruct in your name for the whole of your life and its best to do it before you are married.
