Featured Replies

At 11.00 pm. on 6th December 2008 Pol.Maj.Gen. Wittaya Yuenyong received a call that a thief had been caught at Sombat Condo, Pratumnak Soi 5.

Arriving at the scene police found the suspect, Mr. Ek Wongtham (25), from Sra-gaew province, who had been detained. The victim, Mr. Bent Borge Christensen (69), a Danish citizen, had been injured all over his body, and pointed out the suspect to the police.

Examining Mr. Christensen’s room, 539/48 on the 6th floor, police found it had been ransacked and there were signs of a break-in through the window. A notebook computer and the suspect's tools were also in the room.

Mr. Christensen told police that he and his Thai wife had just arrived in Pattaya. They had gone out for dinner and on returning were surprised that the room was locked from the inside and the light was on. He immediately went to inform security to investigate. Coming back to his room, the thief was caught red-handed trying to move his property out of the room.
