On the 11 December, I intended to do another 30 day non-exempt visa run which would allow me sufficient time in which to renew my British passport (10 working days) as after this run, I will insufficient pages left for any further entries in my passport

As most of us know now, the 30 days rule has now been reduced to 15 days which will not be sufficient time in which to renew my passport.

I understand that you get 30 days if flying back but my intention is to go overland.

If I go to the British Embassy, could they help? If I went to Bangkok immigration with a current 30 day non-exempt visa already in my passport, I wouldn't get an extension, so I'm sure they couldn't help.

Tricky one dont you think?

Maybe someone has a suggestion.

Regards
