How Long To Process Double Entry Tourist Visa In Laos Over The Holiday Period

I'm planning to submit my application on monday the 29th of decemeber. would i get it back on tuesday afternoon? and what are the holidays for the thai consulate there? maybe i will waiting until friday the 2nd to pick up my visa!!!! any help on this topic
