Debit Card Users

Basically I don't want to have cash on me when I am out there. I have all my spending money in my bank now and to draw it out I have a solo card.

On the Solo card.. it has Maestro and Cirrus logos. I just want to double check, will there be cash links for me to draw money out and will I be able to use this card?

Yes, plenty all over he country. I have Maestro&Cirrus also; no problem.

I think you can get a reloadable cash card from Amex as well. Just like travellers checks, but in plastic form that you can use in cash machines or shops. You don't need an Amex card to get it.

Best not to rely on just one card, if you lose it or the ATM swallows it

Better to bring say a card plus some travellers cheques

or card plus some emergency cash.
