kurgen Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 (edited) Police Lieutenant Colonel Atalot from Sattahip Police Station was called to the Sukumvit Road just after 2am on Saturday to investigate a fatal road accident. At the scene, rescue workers attended to four patients, three were injured and a fourth had passed away. The dead man was named as Khun Tardree aged 38 and was driving a pick-up truck from Sattahip to Rayong Province. The driver and passengers had attended a modified pick-up festival and were driving home when the driver fell-asleep at the wheel for a split second according to the passenger. The vehicle left the main carriageway and flipped over many times, during which, the driver was ejected from the vehicle and killed. The three injured passengers are now recovering in Hospital suffering from a variety of injuries.
