Looking For Construction Contractor

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

After buying a condo (lower Sukhumvit area) some time ago I have gone through the apparently usual series of disappointments regarding constructors I hired to renovate the place. The first guy did a lousy job and broke a lot of things in the process, another one tried to cheat me by using the cheapest materials he could find (like rusty old screws to fix the ceiling...) although he told me he will use 'only the best', etc. The last one seemed better until began to delay the work ('I come back tomorrow, sure'), then his company went bankrupt last week...

The job is not that special, laying tiles, constructing concrete counter, putting an interior wall in and doing the buit-in (modern style) furniture.

Are there any TV members who can recommend a reliable contractor in Bangkok who most importantly does a good quality job ? It would be good if he could speak a little English, too.

You can pm me at jingjok86@ gmail.com

Greetings,

Hi ! Yes I do know someone in Bangkok who does condo renovations and remodeling. My friends had their condo recently renovated in Sukhumvit Soi 6 were very pleased with the results. The guys name is David Knowles and he used to work for a top grade construction company in the UK. very knowledgeable and has helped many expats renovate their condos. You need to go to his web site which I am pretty sure is www.bangkokhomecare.com I have only heard good reports from expats who have had their Bangkok condo's renovated by them. Worth a look for sure :o Hope it helps.
