Don't see as it's anyone's business why you go out of the country, you coud be going on a holiday.
InterestedObserver
Basic answer, just get a Re-Entry permit from immigration and be on your way to work. Be sure to be back before your visa or yearly extension expires. If you want more details, them we really need more information from you.
binnsy
Thanks all I have to report every 90 days so if out the country it will cause a problem. The visa i have is a NON O The job offered would be 3 months on and 3 weeks off
Lite Beer
Thanks allI have to report every 90 days so if out the country it will cause a problem. The visa i have is a NON O The job offered would be 3 months on and 3 weeks off If you are on a Non O Visa you do not have to report every 90 days. If you are on a 12 month extension you have to report every 90 days you are in the country. If you leave you are not in the country so no need. I think you are on a 12 month extension. Get a Multi Re Entry Permit and you can come and go as you please,
astral
The only problem I foresee is that you will have to be in Thailand once a year to get your extension. Other than that you do what you like. Just make sure you get a re-entry permit after the yearly extension, multiple or single depending on your plans. As stated, no need to report every 90 days if you are outside the country. The 90 days counter starts again as soon as you come back.

The visa i have is a NON O The job offered would be 3 months on and 3 weeks off The OP has not stated whether or not he is on an annual extension, his initial NON O visa having expired. Absent that information, everybody is just guessing. The facts, as provided by the OP, are somewhat ambiguous. Retirement visa is a generic term that can cover a multitude of different visa/extension combinations.

On 21st November he was asking about the 12 month extension so he could be on anything.
astral
Since he is talking about 90 day reporting, I took it that he has a 12 month extension??? Mind you I could be wrong, as Hull cannot issue O-A retirement visa.
