It would help if you gave a few salient facts! no point in recommending a lawyer or visa company in Pattaya if you live in PHuket, is it a immigration problem? financial? relationship? Property?

Can anyone recommend an expert? I need someone to explain alll my (few, I guess) options... :o

If you are talking about your problems with trying to get 12 month extensions as your husbands dependant. You should not really need one. You need to apply at a Thai Consulate for a Non Imm O Visa . You can then get a 12 month extension as your Husbands Dependant.

However how about getting in touch with forum sponsor Sunbelt.http://www.sunbeltlegaladvisors.com/

They give free consultations.

If you want the proverbial second opinion, then by all means consult an immigration lawyer or specialist. This forum sponsor, Sunbelt, is available for such service. However, your situation has been commented on by several forum members and they all seem to agree that you have struck out at immigration and you need to go to a local Thai consulate and get a Non-Immigrant "O" visa. After you have the Non-Immigrant "O" visa in your passport you can apply for a 1 year dependent extension, your husband having obtained a retirement extension of his own, from immigration in Thailand. Sunbelt may advise that you give immigration another try, with their assistance.
