I read that there will be 15000 MC club bikers and around 50000 others comming to town 12th to the 14th of Feb for a rally and music concert, I know that local clubs like the Jesters do a lot of good work for local charity but should we be concerned about somewhat darker elements that hang around some of these clubs, I mean unless Thailand is not like any other country in the world should the local council be inviting gangs like the Hells Angels and the Bandidos into town, also what about the disruption and noise pollution involved with this event, why do harley davidsons have to be so loud anyway?

the only thing you should worry about is a shortage of available local talent for valentines day.

I would suggest that 15,000 bikers plus 50,000 hangers on & assorted visitors will be most welcome in a city like Pattaya that is seriously suffering from a lack of visitors, tourists & revenue this year,

they all have to eat, sleep & will be spending a lot of hard cash money which generally ends up in the pockets of Thai people one way or the other, any boost to the current fairly dead economy surely cant be a bad thing.

So whats the problem ? if a number of people dont like bikes & bikers & cant stand a bit of noise the answers easy, stay inside for a day or so & it wont effect them just like a lot of other people do at Sonkran time ( its an easy choice )

failing that keep quiet & just let them have their bike meet & enjoy themselves , as after all they do have the legal right to have an organised meeting or event !
