Tv Advertising In Thailand - Style And Substance

Another example is Tesco Lotus with it's endless loud announcements and commercials for their products. Contrary to Farang country, where endless loudness would drive customers away.

Never been regaled by a huge tv screen over the supermarket checkout in your ex-neck of the farang woods? I hate being a captive audience to the continuous stream of drivel, but I have to buy food, and no there aren't any corner shops. I stopped watching the idiotbox at home when I started shouting back at the ads :o But it's less than a year to go to early retirement :D
