From what I've been able to understand, the airlines you fly to Thailand on may require a traveler to show proof of onward travel before they can even board the plane. Apparently this is because they are responsible for flying you back if you can't gain entry to Thailand.

My question is, what if you have a tourist visa already (or any other type like non-immigration type B, etc)...? I will have a one-way ticket to Thailand and probably a tourist visa. Do I still need to show an outbound flight?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

If you have a Visa you will have no problem.

For visa exempt entries thay want to see an onward or return ticket within 30 days of your arrival.

For any visa no ticket is required.
