I saw the same question some time ago, but cannot find the Topic now.

When I search for it with keywords, I also cannot find it. That search programme seems not to work well.

So, please, if I have to leave Thailand on the 13.2. I go to Immigration before midnight and my flight departs on 14.2. 2.40 AM, I have already to pay 1 day Overstay, yes?

I remember that the authorities let me pay for that 2-3 hours some years ago. News?

Kind regards, Alfred

No. They give you 24 hours grace as they know that many international flight depart in the early hours.

Went through the same scenario several times. Never had a problem You have to be at Immigration counter before midnight but even if you get there an hour later I suppose they will not do anything. Anyway even if you get warned you don't have to pay money - its 1 day only...

You won't have to pay, as above you get a days grace but be prepared for an overstay stamp if you don't make it to immigration before midnight.

I got one for only a few minutes after midnight a while ago. It's no big deal.

There is a 24 hour grace period.

They put a little blue stamp in your passport that you had a an overstay of less than 24 hours.

I have one in my old passport.

Sometimes I get amazed by people ... choose to overstay recently (then try and blame the PAD about the airports when you are already on overstay!) then choose to cut it this close the very next month?

Thank you.

But, I went to the landborder to Cambodia-Koh Kong with a one day Overstay and paid, just 10 days ago.

Had there also than a discussion with the Cambodian authorities about the 20 Dollars- and 1.200 B. Visa fee, they want there.

At a Land Border you will. At the Airport you will not.
