What Movies or TV shows are you watching (2024)
I watched this last night and it was brilliant. Jeff Lynne is such a nice guy and everyone on and off stage had such a great time. I loved the female cellist who really turned me on with her cello between her legs. A terrific concert for all ages. -

Same with some other girls of ill-repute in Pattaya...probably. The 2024 election will go down in history as the Presidential Race to the Bottom of the Heap. And, I believe I know why. You see, I am old enough to have lived through the 1960s at a time when I was old enough to be very cognizant of what was happening, even though I could not easily explain it, and almost nobody could, just because the latter part of the 1960s was a phenomenon that nobody had seen before. We had Nitwits and Birdbrains, aplenty. They were mostly ALL hypocrites, just as they are today, if they are still alive. That was a time of social turmoil, And also no direction home. The 1960s was the first ME generation which had such a wide appeal to youth. Since that time, we have been on a steady progression in which individuals see themselves as the most important part of the fractured whole. There IS NO collective goodwill that exists in today's American society, and that is a MYTH. We can see it in the behavior of our presidents, the borderline psychopathic perspective on human existence. Maybe it began in the 70s even more with films such as that Greed Flick. At the time, the Greed Is Good film, Wall Street, was considered a bit edgy, since few in the mainstream, in the 1980s, actually thought that way. So then, Harris is just a product of the times she grew up in. She cares very little about the rest of humanity in front of her. It's all about The Salad Woman. At least, many decades ago, most of society actually DID believe in the concept of Collective Good Will... They thought that it was right to see themselves as a part of the whole, and to care almost as much about others as they cared about their own well-being. The problem is that... In our present transformation of society from what it once was to what it is now, and what it will be.... These new attitudes which are now generally accepted by most of the population seem to.. ALLOW, CONDONE AND FORGIVE aberrant and antisocial behavior in our leaders, and also in our neighbors, and even in ourselves. You know that I LOVE Geckos of the OpenSUSE Kind. But, I never liked Gordon Gekko, even though... He has now become a flawed role models that define life's aspirations of people like Trump, Biden, and Harris, too. If it was good enough for Gekko, then it's good enough for me. And, this thinking brings out the psychopath in those who are already good candidates for being well within the "psychopathic personality disorder" classification in the first place. We live in a very warped society and one which allows those with psychopathic personality disorder express themselves, and encourages themselves to become... Self-Actualized! He is the BAD Gekko I love the GOOD Gecko.... But nobody cares anymore.... So let's Drop the Big One...now.... -

Best Wi-Fi extender for 3BB Wi-Fi 6 router.
If the architecture itself is iffy then that's disappointing to hear. There is a TP-LINK RE505X that has a gigabit port (and is twice the price) but now the whole idea has lost its appeal. Seems like it would be cheaper and better to get a post-pay account for the phone that will be used in that room. Thanks for your input. -

Am I missing the point about Chat GPT?
I finally got around to asking it some questions. It largely comes across as the “smart kid” in high school. Uses big words. Sounds impressive at first. But then you realize you don't really remember anything specific that it says. Because it's not really giving you anything. It just says sweet nothing in a way that seems intelligent on the surface. I fail to understand how this thing has replaced human endeavors.
