Rango
If i start a company in Thailand using any of the legal options availbe to me, can i then use that company as he basis to get a non-immigrant B visa?
KamnanT
Non-Immigrant "B" Visa - yes, depending on the embassy/consulate you visit, having a letter of introduction and corporate documents from a registered Thai company should get you at least a single-entry Non-Immigrant "B". One Year Extension of Stay for Business - almost certainly not with a new company: new police order essentially requires your startup to be active and profitable for 2 years before you can use it as the basis for an extension of stay. Mario2008
Agree with KamnanT, will be non-B's for the first 2 years. No extensions of stay, so leave the country every 90 days.
ubonjoe
At most nearby consulates you are going to need a WP3 (work permit application) to get a B visa. Yes it will be very hard to get an extension for a new company.
