Boutique Guitar Amps

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of where in bangkok might sell what may be considered more a 'boutique' guitar amp.

In particular low wattage all valve jobbers, say the Cornford Harlequin or even a Cornell Romany. Some of the lower powered matchless or badcat would be nice also.

I'm pretty sure it would be fairly expensive to ship one from the US/UK due to size and weight so to find one sold locally would be great.

All suggestions greatly appreciated!

Richie,

Sorry, not really a direct answer but couldn't you get the sound you want through an effects unit rather than buying an antique set up? With digital effects nowadays the limitations are limitless.

I'm sure there must be some old valve amps somewhere, it's just trying to find them.

I've got a Fender Bassman '59 Tweed re-issue. Mint Condition.
