Hello all, I have to have a tooth pulled and will need a Pattaya area dentist to install a bridge. Cost is not a factor as my dental insurance will pay about 80%....so I am looking for a REALLY good dentist that speaks english. While Bumrungrad type hospitals are great for most medical stuff I have not had a good experience with the dental side of medical hospitals. Any ideas. Thanks !

Hi, how about Smile Time? The doctor speaks English well enough and most of his patients are not Thai native speakers. I had my teeth clean and the session went well. When I was young I never feared visiting dentists, but it changed when I age (dunno why, psychological issue maybe--grow more, know more, that sort of thing.) Point is, he's gentle. My bf had his crowns fixed and the fear of dentist in him is actually worse but with this dentist there's no such worries. Gentle gentleman. Okay...exact location is quite opposite of Jomtien Complex (where Shenannegan's is). It's a small clinic on the left handside. Drive toward Jomtien, pass Hanuman curve, slowdown once you drive pass Family Mart, it's about another 10-20 meters to Smile Time. If you turn left to Jomtien beach, it means you already miss the clinic, so make the u-turn. The phone number is 081-833-6987.

The APC Dental Clinic on Soi 5, Second Rd end has been excellent for me. I have had seven crown fitted painlessly and have not had a problem in the two years they have been in.

The dentist there speaks excellent English and actually counseled me against more work because he thought it was unnecessary. The prices were not the lowest but quite reasonable.

He showed me corrective work he had done on previous patients of BPH dental surgery.
