Hi, I have a double entry TV.,so now I have to go to Mae Sai to use the second entry.

On the visa it is stated "enter before 24 Feb 2009".

Can I enter on the 24th., or do i have to enter on the 23th.?

I also would like to stay overnight in Myanmar, so is the immigration open on sunday 22th?

Thanks

You have to enter Thailand on 23rd or before.

The border checkpoint opens every day.

Ray, as a side note did your girlfriend get her 12 month extension ok?

Hi, we have a pretty good pinned thread on the Mae Sai/Tachilek border set up in the Chiang Rai forum that maybe of interest to you.

You may like to take a little time and enjoy the drive along the Mekong River from Chiang Kong to Tachilek. Some eye catching scenery.

Border is open 7 days as Lite Beer says, and tell immigration on the Burma side if you intend to stay for more than the day.

hello,

from Tachilek to Chiang sean it's the Mae Sai river that make the border between Thailand and Burma and then connect to the Mekhong to Chiang Khong ^^.

And from chiang Rai it's the river kok to Chiang sean..

Is there a trip from Tachilek to Chiang khong by river?
