Report Phuket Fines 17,000 Tourists for Unlicensed Driving
Look at the big picture guys. BIB need rental companies to rent to unlicensed tourists in order to make money. Any suggestion that they go after rental companies is just for public consumption. -

Myanmar Deports 57 Foreigners Linked to Telecom Fraud
Myanmar has deported 57 undocumented foreign nationals—37 Indians and 20 Indonesians—accused of involvement in telecom fraud and other criminal activities in Kayin State, according to a report published by the Myanmar News Agency on 27 August 2025. The group was repatriated via the Myanmar–Thailand Friendship Bridge II, with authorities providing legal documentation to facilitate their return. The move forms part of a broader crackdown on online scams and illegal gambling operations, which Myanmar’s government says it is tackling in coordination with neighbouring countries. Since 30 January, immigration officials have identified and detained 9,369 illegal entrants across the country. Of these, 9,262 have already been deported through Thailand to their respective nations. The remaining 107 individuals are currently in detention, awaiting repatriation. The operation underscores Myanmar’s intensified efforts to curb cross-border criminal networks exploiting its territory. Kayin State, which borders Thailand, has become a hotspot for illicit activities, often linked to transnational syndicates operating in the region. Authorities say the crackdown is part of a wider campaign to restore law and order, particularly in areas where enforcement has been historically weak. The government has pledged continued cooperation with international partners to dismantle fraud rings and ensure border integrity. The Myanmar News Agency noted that immigration processes are ongoing, with further deportations expected in the coming weeks. -2025-08-27 -

Burn the Flag
Correct, it is only cloth. Couldn't care less. If you attack gay people or their rights that's another issue, but do what you like to some nylon. Everyone should have the right to symbolic protest, as long as it doesn't infringe upon anyone's rights. -
