A friend of mine in Oz is a keen bird watcher. He may visit Chiang Mai later in the year and has asked me to buy a book about the birds of Northern Thailand and Doi Intanon.

Can anyone advise if such a book is available and whether Gecko Books would stock it.

The book of choice in this part of the world is "A Field Guide to the Birds of South East Asia" by Craig Robson, the latest edition should come out in a month or so. Go for the paperback edition.
