Whatever is said about circumstances of this death is only pure speculation....Has anyone seen a clear close up picture ? As far as I know, the only two that we have seen do not show anything else than an unclear shot of a spheric shape hanging on a rope. My eyes are not too good, but , unless I missed something, it's all I have seen. I am sure that forensic will have much better elements to work on, and to give a more reliable explanation....

The grisly discovery was made Sunday afternoon. So how long had it been swinging around there before somebody noticed it? Or had it been seen but was just ignored as just a piece of urban rubbish?

It obviously took some time to hang it over the edge and write the note, assuming the note is connected with the head as it might be just some pointless graffiti, so unless it was done during the early hours of the morning many people must have passed that way.

Foreigner Killed and Beheaded

The head of an unknown foreigner was found hanging on the Rama 8 Bridge. The police will review footage from closed-circuit cameras in the area and are searching for witnesses who may help investigators in solving the case.

Police officers from Bavornmongkol Police Station as well as forensic police came to inspect the head of an unknown Caucasian man thought to be between the ages of 30 and 40. The victim had been killed and beheaded before his head was hung on Rama 8 Bridge over the Chao Phraya River.

Investigations found that his neck bone was disconnected and the victim had tear wounds on the back of his neck.

Moreover, the skin on the back of his neck was tied to a nylon string. It is speculated that he had not been killed long ago.

On the bridge railings where the victim's head was hung was the message "I want to but I cannot" and "I came to Bangkok to be you" were found. The police will carry out further investigations to see whether it is associated with the murder.

The Bavornmongkol Police Station has cooperated with nearby police stations to determine in which area the victim was residing and whether there had been any witnesses.

Also, the police will cooperate with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to ask for footage from the closed-circuit cameras in the Rama 8 Bridge area to determine the victim's identity, cause of death as well as the identity of the murderer before getting in contact with the embassy of the victim's country.

Two options: suicide or foul play.

Suicide: seems unlikely

Foul play: a very serious message has been delivered to others out there. They know exactly who they are as they know the deceased and will never talk for obvious reasons.

I doubt this one will ever be resolved unless certain high ups know something in which case it will absolutely be deemed a suicide.

Yeah, I know the type. Just being around them it almost feels like conventional law and logic no longer apply. So, I suppose it's best not to over-or-underestimate any group or individual.

Looking at his face in the picture I would opine that he was definitely murdered. Most likely drugged and then beheaded, why? His face has a look of contentment or serenity about it that is unlikely to be seen on the face when one leaps to ones death.
