Thai Air Online Booking Quirk, Multiple People Higher Price

I'm taking my family for a holday and when I make a booking online at thai air, I can get a no mileage accrual flight for 1 pax for 28K.  However when I book 2 or 3 pax, this fare isn't offered and it's at 35K.  After looking at all the availalbe seats for multiple days, I can't figure out why multiple pax won't qualify for the lower fare.  Surely not on every flight I've looked at there's just 1 cheaper seat available.  I guess I can book 3 individual seats at the lower price, but sure would make sense to be able to do this all at once.  Of course calls to thai air are just a waste of time.

Agree. Supply and demand, same same the budget airlines. Less seats available the higher the price.

Marriott hotels website used to have a bug which could be similar to this. Say you check the 1st and it is $100 but if you check the 1st for 7 days it is $125 per day. It would not show the $100 room even though it was available. They now show any rate changes.

So the OP should book them individually and get at least 1 at the cheaper 28k price even if he has to pay for 2 at the higher price.
