Did someone say ' ThaiVisa party' or was that a dream? Hey, that's not a bad idea. Maybe go and stir up some support for a get together in the Isaan form.
January 15, 201016 yr Hey, that's not a bad idea. Maybe go and stir up some support for a get together in the Isaan form. I thought that was the job of the Global Moderators?? Just left Thad at Coffee Corner,Praconchai DRINKING COFFEE! Married life must suit him, he looked happy and was not completly adverse to the idea. Just a bit worried about if he could cater for the vast TV members in his bar. Not sure he was talking about the size of the members or the number of members I'm back off to the UK so no can do,sorry. Dave
January 15, 201016 yr Bugger me ! Went down to Ban Kruat with Prakhon Chai Nick to see Thadd on Thursday. Had no idea that the wedding had been so close - maybe I am slow on the uptake. Anyway, huge congrats to Thadd and Yoon and best wishes for the future Edited January 15, 201016 yr by Chaimai
January 16, 201016 yr Author Bugger me ! Can we postpone that until we know each other a little better Pie verdict - Good, very good in fact, pastry is a little bit thick for my liking, just have to convince the wife now.

January 16, 201016 yr Author Suspicions confirmed. I just KNEW living in rural Issan makes farangs go soft in the head. Errr.... no. Most farang brains are well tenderised long before they get here. I remember commenting to the first settlers in this town, long before I put down roots myself, that I liked the place, I liked the people, I like the food, and the total wanke_rs hadn't found it yet. My, how times change.

January 21, 201016 yr Well, life's busy as ever, I always have too much to do. I did just spend 3 weeks in Gran Canaria so the cold weather here in Blighty is having an effect on me. The better half is also running around like a lunatic. So nothing's changed really. Life goes on.
January 22, 201016 yr So how do lunatics run around? I though you kept them in restraints? Edit: You could say that she was running around like an unregistered dog. Edited January 22, 201016 yr by sceadugenga
January 22, 201016 yr So how do lunatics run around? I though you kept them in restraints? Edit: You could say that she was running around like an unregistered dog. The world just sends them to Thailand and they all reside here eventually. We are the only ones who can identify.

January 22, 201016 yr So how do lunatics run around? I though you kept them in restraints? Edit: You could say that she was running around like an unregistered dog. I think I might be in trouble if I called her that! At least dogs are more faithful friends. Put your wife and your dog in the trunk of the car for an hour and see which one still likes you. We always carried our hunting dog in the car's trunk and it was always happy to get in... because we were going on a trip, and always happy to get out... because we were there.
January 23, 201016 yr They're probably safer there than in my dog's preferred car place. Back legs on back seat, front legs on the console between the front seats so he has a 360 view of the action. If I have to stop in a hurry he bounces off the windshield. Edited January 23, 201016 yr by sceadugenga
January 23, 201016 yr and always happy to get out... Dark and cosy, warm blanket to lie on, comfortable temperature, good ventilation, what's not to like? We only hunted in the fall when the weather was cool, so no problem with heat exhaustion. I don't know what the mother in law was complaining about.
