My iPhone looks a little worse for wear, and it's battery lasts about 3 hours on a good day. Also my wifi has become increasingly unreliable. Can i go to a place in MBK for the following - has anyone else done this?

1) Replace cover

2) Replace better

3) Dont know if it's possible to replace the wifi chip...but who knows..

So, about 20 months then? I guess most people can expect to need to have their batteries replaced at that point.

Judging by the piles of spares I saw in a couple of stalls at the back of the MBK phone floor, i would say that there are plenty of spares and people to install them. I also noticed an Iphone battery replacement kit. It was a battery and two (?) awkward shape plastic arms.

As mine is still OK I haven't any first hand experience of quality.

One of the main reasons I sold my Iphone. In the States a batter replacement will go around 79.95 if I remember correctly.

Be careful where u get it done in MBK. A fake battery won't do you any good. Don't they have Apple stores in Thailand that will also do Iphones now?

I would personally spend a little more than taking a risk.

replacement in the US is def way cheaper.

they'll chop ur head off at MBK

the cost of replacing parts ur better off with a new 3G iphone
