Retirement Visa From Hull

Featured Replies

Can someone give me information on obtaining a retirement visa at Hull in the UK and what documentation is required?

I’ll submit my application by post.

I live in Thailand and have had a retirement visa for the past five years but on the expiry/renewal date which is July 4th I’ll be in the UK on business.

I have the web-site address but need clarification from a retiree who’s successfully been through the retirement application procedure.

Is there anything I need to take with me on my departure from LOS like my Thai account details, Thai driving licence’s, proof of address etc?

Cheers Guys

You can extend you permission to stay as early as 30 days before the expiry date and if necesarry they will process you extensioin even sooner. So there is no need to apply in Hull.

Note that Hull, doesn't give O-A long stay visas, only the embassy does that. But they do give non-O visa's based on reason of retirement.

As Mario said, try and extend your stay in Thailand if you qualify. They will do early.

The Thai Consulate in Hull will issue a Multi Entry Non O Visa with no problems.

If you wanted a Non O-A Visa for Retirement you have to apply at the Embassy in London. http://www.thaiembassyuk.org.uk/visa_retirement.html
