March 10, 200917 yr Well Manyoo are champs after Liverpool have thrown away so many points this season, fancy villa to nick 4th spot with liverpool and chelsea making up the numbers for 2nd and 3rd. For me West Brom just haven't got the quality, and would love to see Boro go down.... Blackburn could well just scrape it to safety, Pompey are in free fall and could be the victim of poor board management. Stoke's home form may just see them safe, Newcastle could well bite the dust unless Owen comes back for them in top form, there defence is shocking! So for me prem downers are WBA, Boro and Newcastle.... Coming up seems Wolves and Brum have got the class to finish the job, playoffs always interesting.... But If Burnley can put together I good run in I can see them being a big surprise package. Charlton are doomed and Southampton are looking into the abyss! Think Blackpool will join them as they have never seemed to have recovered since the loss of Simon Grayson The Mighty Leicester are walking League one, MK Dons or Peterboro could well nick 2nd spot. I Fancy Barry fry's men to take the 2nd spot with Millwall going up via the playoffs. Gonna be difficult for the bottom 3 to claw there way out of trouble now. So Cheltenham, Hereford and Brighton will more than likely be joined by swindon which serves them right for when Paul Bodin cheated Leiecster out of a play off final victory when he dived over in the box after we equalised to make it 3-3! League 2 It's tight at the top in this one, but Brentford and Wycombe are looking good, it's anyone from 6 to make 2nd spot but I fancy Bury to hold on with Exeter winning the playoffs Sadly and unfairly Luton will be consigned to non-league footy next season. Although despite Bournmouth's 10pt deduction fancy them to save themselves and send Grimsby down with Luton too.

So Cheltenham, Hereford and Brighton will more than likely be joined by swindon which serves them right for when Paul Bodin cheated Leiecster out of a play off final victory when he dived over in the box after we equalised to make it 3-3! OI!!. It was a cast iron penalty guv. Sure we could go down and we now find ourselves in the drop zone for the first time this season, however we do have a good manager in Danny Wilson and a decent run against those around us could see us move to safety. We couldn't beat Cheltenham at home though which is a worry.
March 10, 200917 yr this season has really thrown into stark relief just what a crap league the premier league is to be honest. the gap between the financial haves and have nots has increased year on year to the extent that man united are now simply so much better than everybody else that it renders the league almost pointless. we're in the second week of march and any team from 8th place on down is in with a realistic chance of relegation while teams which started the season well and have good managers, like fulham, are turning up against united without even an intention of trying to win. three-quarters of the teams in the division begin the season with the sole intention of trying to avoid relegation - that isn't a league, it's a sham. it might sound like sour grapes from a liverpool fan but i have contended all season that we were in a false position as we're simply not able to compete financially with united and chelsea. arsene wenger has gambled the present on the future by taking the long view and hoping that his team of kids will be able to challenge united in two or three seasons' time, while the loaded mob at man city are attempting to do a chelsea and buy big names while forgetting that they don't have the two most attractive things to a player that chelsea did have, champions league football and a london postcode. if abramovich continues to resist spending big on chelsea then i can see united winning the league for the next four, five or six seasons on the bounce. and that's not really particularly interesting is it? baggies, hull and 'boro to go down.
March 10, 200917 yr Prem going down are WBA, Boro & Stoke unfortunately. I'd actually like all 3 to stay up & be replaced by others.. Championship = Wolves to be Champs having just got back on track, B'ham to be runners up & i'll go for Reading with their experience to win the Play Offs - Relegated = Charlton, Barnsley & Blackpool.. League 1 = Promoted Leicester to be Champs by a minimum of 12 points, MK Franchise to be runners up, Scunthorpe for Play Offs..Relegated - Cheltenham for sure, too tough to call any others. League 2 = Wycombe to win it, Brentford Runners up, Gillingham third, Bradford Play Offs..Relegated - Luton & Chester to go into oblivion.
March 10, 200917 yr Birmingham to go up I hope along with Wolves and Reading to win play offs. Baggies to drop with Boro and Pompey I think.
March 10, 200917 yr West Brom,Boro and Newcastle for relegation, although i still feel Hull could be in trouble

Agree Stevie, & they're also quite soothing on the eye when they play... They always upset one of the top PL clubs during the premier run-in. I am a Boro fan through and through and I do believe that they will be relegated this season. No consistency you never know which team will be playing week in weekk out. Also Southgate should not have been made the manager, he should have learnt his trade whilst working with an experienced PL manager. It will be a sad day for Nort East football if both Newcastle and Boro go down, it's not unrealistic based on points and both teams run-in.

March 11, 200917 yr Author Looking at the table today and the FA may want to step up security if Swansea and Cardiff meet in the Championship play off and Millwall and Leeds make it in the league one play off!!!! :s Nothing really against Boro apart from the fact they play the most god dam boring football in the Prem! Looking back as to when they had the likes of Emerson, Junhinio, Ravanelli etc.... should have been a springboard for better things. But never was... You just have to compare there dropping attendences with every other club and I think you would find many disillusioned Boro fans who have given up all hope!

March 11, 200917 yr Bad, bad result for Reading last night 0-0 at home to Charlton, Wolves only manage a 0-0 at Home, Brum can only draw 1-1 at Barnsley, Cradiff slip up 0-2 at Norwich, long way to go at the top there me thinks... Actually it was Reading 2 Charlton 2, but it sems like nobody wants to win this league, nobody is putting any form together at all. We were rubbish last night against a team that a Sunday side should on paper beat.....but then Wolves are not faring any better neither are Brum. If we could just find that spark and put a run together and win our two games in hand we will be top. I still think we will make it.....but it's gonna be a lot closer than it should have been. Brum at home last day of the season could be the definining moment of the season...but I hope it does not come to that !!

March 12, 200917 yr WEST BROM HULL CITY BLACKBURN FOR THE DROP BIRMINGHAM READING IPSWICH Via play offs
March 12, 200917 yr incidentally, based on the irritating gobshite manager scale of things, it would be great to see blackburn, spurs and newcastle go down. no more fathead allardyce, crafty cockney barra boy redknapp and joe <deleted> throwback kinnear.
