I have heard they are racquet courts are the laid out for squash as well?

They are proper squash courts.

Jomtiem Ambassador is a fair hike out of Pattaya but it is reasonably cheap. I think i paid 100 baht for an hour squash.

Fairtex is an upmarket read expensive club so you can only play there if you are a member of have a friend who is a memeber but it is expensive.

I think the Dusit might have a squash court as well but not sure.

The Pattaya Squash Club meet at The Ambassador every Tuesday, Thuesday and Saturday from 5pm.

Unlimited games will usually cost you 40 Baht.

If you book the courts yourself then it's 100 Baht per hour.

Cholchan Resort (if it's still called that) has squash courts too, don't know the cost.

Make sure that there are proper flooring and good air-conditioning.

In port Harcourt (Nigeria) we had courts with tiled flooring. The floors got so slippery after a few minutes play that I know of at least two colleagues (Shell employees) who slipped and broke legs. However as these courts had an open clerestorey area and many fans in lieu of air-con we could not improve them, so they fell into disuse.

When in Pattaya I like to have a hit but I need someone who is pretty good as I used to play state grade in Oz.

Yes at least 3 decent regular players there. (Eddie, Jan and Bernhard) and 3~4 others depending on the time of year.

Used to be 2 guys that are coaches too.
