seanwg
Hi, I'm a Canadian non-resident living in Bermuda. GF arrives end of the month, and we are getting married here in Febuary. I want to take her to my home town, to meet more of my friends come May.. and from what I read I need to get her a "Temporary Residence Visa" for Canada. Or do I? Another person I know here in bermuda says if we both arrive in Toronto, with our marriage certificate, she will be let right in? There is no Canadian embassy here in Bermuda, and phone calls/faxes to the New York office are just not answered... its getting really frustrating. Any ideas? Non-resident Canadian; Thai Wife.. wants to Visit Canada but no local Embassy! I am so tempted to just go and deal with the Canadian authorities in Toronto.. and show them the lack of responses, audio recordings the silence at the Canadian embassy in New York!
