Is My Apartments Internet Legal?

Hello, I am living in a serviced apartment in Bangkok.

They have 2 connections of 4mbit TRUE ADSL (according to the admin). And they are selling cards offering 1024kbps/256kbps to all residents (70+). They have also blocked torrents and forced it to be one computer only (login/password).

Luckily I'm moving next month to a condo and get my own dsl-connection.

I just wonder if the ways of my apartment is legal.

8mbit/70rooms is not enough. And they market it "Hi speed internet 1M/512 (in my logonwindow the upload is only 256).

For an internet card (only one computer (good bye Wii, XBOX, PSP, DS etc.))They charge 600BHAT.

I believe this is very common in Thailand, but I doubt that it is legal.

Can anyone enlighten me?

Well it is the only option I have to get internet where I live.

I was thinking about TRUE's EULA and I suppose that they use normal 2000bhat/month 4mbit-lines. And then make a huge profit. I suspected that might be illegal (or against the agreement with TRUE)

I think it could be illegal - or at least against TRUE's conditions of service. AFAIK TOT conditions are that the ADSL line is for one property only.

Possibly other companies have the same conditions?
