Kan Win
Shot this photo last week in Kan using 'bracketing' mode 5 steps, but it did not come out very good for a HDR photo, so I used one of the shots below:- 1st Original in .jpg OLYMPUS E-3 1/2564s f/3.2 at 14.0mm iso400 2nd one was the RAW photo (my camera setting RAW+JPG) processed in 'Photomatix Pro 3.1' and then slight adjustments in 'ACDSee Pro 2.5' and added the borders and signed:- Am I heading in the right direction ? What do you think? Yours truly, Kan Win
gampaan
The 2nd one is definitely moving in the right direction. I'd rather see a bit more of the water and crop some of the sky, but a really nice shot I think.
neverdie
Yes I agree the second one is very good, I feel the effect the clouds add to the picture plays an important part in the shot, so I disagree about the comment regarding more water.
yumidesign
The 2nd one crop to this the subject is the train on the bridge the sky a background. The green hills on the right distract from the subject, have cropped out too dark, have lightened to get more brillinace out of the colour of the train delete drop shadow and boarder as they detract from the image the signature.... well up to you, personally i think its a bit ugly, highlights the ego rather than the image there is something wrong with engineering of your lens, shown by the parallax problem of the angle of the first left hand pylon but the overall effect is quite good
