Can someone explain the allure of pattaya to me?
Thailand has better beaches, that are not being used and not filled with citizens of countries more third world than thailand. That and, the girls that go to pattaya are seeking foreigners because they spend more than thai men. Youre better off getting yourself a girl in the wild for the authentic thai experience. That and, all the crime seems to happen in pattaya, you see all the wacky stories here. Phuket is the same now too. Are these places like the mini vegas of thailand where degenerates go to get their thrills? -

No, the only reason PIA is allowed to resume flights to the UK is because the UK CAA - an independent body, did you not watch the last five seconds of the GB news "report" I linked to where they admitted this? - has certified them as safe to fly. Similar to the EASA which certified them safe last year and seemingly similar to the US FAA which re-audited them in March and is apparently not far away from regranting CAT 1 status. No other reason. They are independent bodies as even your GB News admits (remember the five second link that you refuse to click?) I can't believe you post videos every day and expect people to sit through them even though you don't watch them to the end yourself. And then when I link to a 5 second second clip of your own video that contradicts everything......you don't watch it. It shows you are not interested in truth, only interested in your agenda. -

What am I supposed to do, turn away in horror? So when I'm standing in the x bar near Pub Street and some hotties walk in wearing short shorts I need to flee? If they didn't want to show it, they wouldn't show it. It's not like I am running up to them and shoving my hand in their crack, I'm just looking and admittedly, probably drooling. But I have a lovely apartment with a hot shower and air conditioning and maid service so if you want to get out of that hostel baby.... -

No. If, as I suspect, this is the pure china white heroin which thailand and neighboring countries are known for, 13 pounds of it represents a huge amount of money, not a diversionary tactic. -

Pattaya Condos: History and Future
I'm not a realtor--I have said many, many times I am way too lazy, with way too little patience. What I mostly do is shop--for condos, tvs, refrigerators, furniture, washing machines, beds, mattresses, houses, etc. As far as I know, 'shopping' is not an occupation reserved for Thais. When we renovate, we use Thai workers who do the work--plumbing, tiling, painting, carpentry, etc. My Thai spouse does the hiring and directs all the work. We always buy in either foreign quota or Thai name. Except for our rental condos, which we no longer have, we always live in what we buy and renovate. We never buy to flip--we buy to live in. Then we get bored and we sell and repeat the process. It's short periods of ownership while living in a property we legally own. One is allowed to buy a property in foreign quota, fix it up with Thai workers, live in it, and sell it after a time. Some like to boast that they move frequently as renters; we're just doing the same, but as owners.
