This is a first for Lazada.

I made an order that was delivered by Flash. Well, it "shows" delivered but it was not. The delivery supposedly happened between 21:25 and 21:27 according to Flash receipts and Lazada receipts. I pulled the video off of the security cam and nobody came to our house. The dog would have alerted me too but nobody ever came to the front gate.

I've checked the signature an it's just a straight dash. Maybe the delivery driver just got tired and tossed it in the ditch somewhere. I've checked around the house but nada. Nobody delivered it. Nobody came here at the time the package was "signed" for.

Soooo, now what? Has anyone here made a Non-Delivery complaint with Lazada before. What did you do and how did it work out.

More than likely they've delivered to the wrong house.

What 'usually' happens with the delivery note (on lazada and shopee) is they take a photo of the package on your 'door-step' (or wherever they left it) - thats their proof of delivery - is there any such photo that you can find on the app.

Its quite common for us to end up with parcels and even food deliveries intended for people in the next mooban - same house #... and they sometimes get our deliveries too !!... common enough, that we have their Line Messenger !!!

So - its possibly that it was delivered to the wrong house.

File an issue with Lazada that you didn't receive the item - you'll get a refund.

I've had the same thing twice - only with Flash.

1. Delivered to the security guard at the village entrance, but shown as fully delivered.

2. Shown as fully delivered at 23:59hrs, but was delivered the next day.

I guess that they have their target delivery times and try these tricks to stay within those targets - maybe there are penalties if they don't.

TBH I didn't complain. These guys get paid a pittance.

I haven't had a delivery no-show problem with Lazada but occasional other ones as I order plenty. In each case, I called their helpline and the agents were courteous and helpful and the issue resolved. I would say calling them should be the first stop.

Never happens with COD.

Ok, here's what happened.

I've got security cam video and no one came to my house at the time it showed as "Delivered" at 9:30 PM last night.

This morning I sent a message to Flash indicating that the package was not delivered.

Then I began trying to fill out the Lazada forms for non-delivery. Trust me, they are a complete circle-jerk. I doubt I could have managed to actually file a non-delivery report. It's AI and rather stupid AI at that.

The message to Flash must have gotten through. The delivery guy showed up about 10 minutes ago with the package. My guess was that at 9:30 PM last night he was tired of delivering and marked the package as "Delivered" so he could go home with the plan of delivering today.

Lessons learned. If your package doesn't show up, work directly with the Delivery agent. Lazada reporting system is overly complicated and runs you in circles. The Flash delivery guy is a good fellow, so I hope I didn't get him in trouble.

I didn't see a Helpdesk line. If it ever happens again, I'll work with the Delivery service first, and the call Lazada if I don't get resolution with them.

Maybe true. But who wants to sit at home all day waiting for a COD?

Regarding the OP's predicament, that happened to me a few times in several hundred Lazada orders and they were all delivered in the next day or so. I suspect the drivers get in trouble if they don't claim to deliver on time. But that's just a guess.

Happened to me twice , COD .

1 time Flash , one time Kerry.

Just go to local office and ask.

The number's getting screwed up. Trying again 020180000.

Lazada always delivers. This case could be a neighbour or a passer by who stole the packet or the lazy delivery chap from Flash who forged the signature as I once had an issue with a so called item delivered in Hua Hin by flash but it just never arrived. After my complain, the very next day the delivery chap of Flash "found" the packet and it was delivered with the usual grin and "solly".

First thing you do is check for a delivery photo on tracking, that's usually check mate either way

The same thing has happened to us a few times.

We're a bit far out and I think the courier either can't be arsed coming out for 1 package or it's gotten too late.

When this happens, the courier usually phones and says "will bring tomorrow".

As someone else suggested, they probably change the delivery status to keep their numbers up.

It's not an issue for me.

Happens all the time to me. Sometimes days later it will show up or not at all but there should be a phone number for the delivery person. Another thing I get is repeat delivery notices from Lazada which are very annoying. The Lazada workers are worthless, never help you just waste your time. I used to buy lots of stuff from them, but no more. Terrible business practices.

I've primarily used Lazada for online purposes for well over 10 years. My second-place online store is Shoppee.

I've never had any problems with Lazada, including returning items for a refund. I'm sure if you contact them and say that this product was never delivered, they will work it out with you either by sending you another product or a complete refund.

Same thing has happened to me a couple of times. As others have said, it's usually got too late in the day for the driver, and maybe he has to show that he has made the delivery that day so he fakes it. Shows up the next day. That's okay. I'll side with the driver who is probably paid peanuts.

These days I only ever use COD, so that little problem has disappeared.

I use Lazada very much and cannot complain about the delivery.

I suppose they delivered at the wrong address.

What I do: I always use the option: pay at delivery. So, in case the order don't reach me, I also don't have to pay and still can order again. Use the 'KISS Method" Keep It Simple Stupid.

On the delivery photo it will have GPS coordinates when they do actually photo it at delivery.

The guy marked it “delivered” because of the on time guarantee for deliveries from the shopping platforms. The company gets penalized for a late delivery as the shopping platform has to give you some compensation for the late delivery, hence his “non delivered delivery”.

I can second this.

A parcel was marked as 'out for delivery' but didn't arrive by early evening. I then checked the app and it said that an attempted delivery had been made but had been unsuccessful. As I had been at home that day, I checked further. The app showed a photo purporting to be of the attempted delivery but it was just a photo of the road surface (but not the road outside my house). However, the GPS coordinates on the photo were for the delivery depot. I went to the depot and they found my parcel and handed it over.

Happened more than once with Flash. The photo (as proof-of-delivery) has in its meta data the GPS location of where the photo was taken and, wonders never seize, the photos were taken in Flash's distribution warehouse (in Nong Khai where I live).
I sorted matters out with the warehouse manager of Flash here and told her in no unclear terms, that I would file not only a complain with Flash's head office but would also inform the seller over this. It happened a total of three times by three different messengers. As I never took matters up with Flash head office (I just threatened) it did not happen again.

If you report that to the courier's company head office and the fellow is losing the job, you can expect some retaliation at your address which these fellows have.

They do this and usually turn up the next day . Because as far as I remember they get a fine if not delivered on time of 2-3000bht per item I think the guy told my wife before, so they mark things as delivered to not get fined when they can't deliver on the date it is meant for .

How can they ''not deliver'' if you are paying COD?

I usually do COD with Lazada, as the drivers they use, Flash, a couple of times have said they came to the house and marked delivery unsuccessful. I was home the whole time, and they said they called beforehand. They never called. This happened three times and I tried calling Flash and they said it would come the next day, which it did. Sometimes the drivers , if you're at the end of their delivery schedule, won't come as they want to go home. They are supposed to call before then come.

Once I was told the delivery was made and I also was home. I'm the only foreigner in my village and easy to find, as they only have to ask anyone and they'll be directed. I emailed Flash and they apologized, saying it was at the last stop and would be delivered tomorrow. This after the driver said it was delivered.

I've had them leave the packages a few times, leaving the money also, as I knew the drivers by name, with no problems. I'm in the country but living in the cities this wouldn't be a good idea, and people do steal packages. Like ronster said, I'm sure they could also go back home and deliver the package the next day, holding it until then, so they don't get into trouble. No problems using Shopee qith COD so far.

Waiting in for delivery is a bit tragic, go out, live, enjoy yourself!
