Has anyone been on the Saraphee Road? I'd be surprised if all those trees stood up to the gusts.

I've just been under the bridge to the Super @ Changklan by the River, and as usual, it's flooded, and the already-congested traffic doing its 3 way split into or out of the city is more congested than ever. Also, just north of there, the old warhorse restaurant Ta Naam has had a giant ficus tree blown over and split to pieces. I couldn't tell if it took out any any cars or motosai when it fell, but the tree is huge. They were butchering it as I went by.

Well it could have taken the motherboard too.

The storm blew my door open hard and it smashed my house's water line. Had a bit of a flood, but it's songkran so I guess it's ok.

Here in Kan, just a shower, so nothing to report really.

UBC/True , dish blown out of alignment.... called them..... of course TRUE to form, they have no technician available.... its Sunday, ,.... oh and yes with the holiday maybe we can get someone out on the 16th...... But the billing department works fine......

Q What kind of service company does not keep a technician on stand by for any necessary repairs....

Don't get me started about True.

I have True internet in BKK. 2mb if you use their stupid mobile phone number in conjunction, and 1mb if you forget to top up the dam_n phone.

When 2mb gets switched to 1mb (happens auto. when you forget to top up the dam_n phone) it goes through a different billing company.

All the data you set up for direct debit gets automatically wiped out (but on the bills still says being deducted from acct.)

So one day (if you are lucky enough to be at home ) they call you and say they will be cutting you off because you haven't paid your bill.

Took 6 phonecalls to find out direct debit info deleted because not kept up with topping up phone.

When asked to explain why , the apparent answer was that 2mb and 1mb goes through a different billing company (but same service). Try and figure that out!!

I was thinking about having a free beer and pizza party for anyone who has a True "TRUE" story that doesn't sound " Untrue"

But Venue. Do you think we can get the 700 Year Stadium once the RedZ iz OuT ??

The big billboards at the Nong Hoy intersection came down just when I passed it. Took a lot of electricity wires with them. Quite scary.

Sorry couldn't resist it - True = red rag to a bull.

Having said that though, True cable internet in CM no problems.

Wish there was an alternative in BKK to True ADSL.

Been fine tuned now...... all it needed was a fine tuning instrument..... A 2 X 4 about 2 metres long did the trick with just a little teeny weeny bash..

I guess I can now be a TRUE Tecnician
