SoMeOnEnUlL
Yea, I am starting to think they are worse than Yellow. But, the question remain is can we believe the Nation's news? I mean seriously we need to know if they fabricate it or not.
LuckyFive8888
This is murder pure and simple. no, i would say they are casualties of war to restore the peace in this country. if they were yellow i would say the same thing. anyone who threatens to kill civilians are enemy of the society. yellows as well... or this are the same people all along? getting paid and so fort? A Muslim Bangkokian group is gathering to attack the reds as a response, after a Mosque was vandalized by the reds this afternoon. no surprises. it seems that the whole soulth are anti-reds. is this a regional confilct or what? i would say 90% of the reds are from thaksin's region.... why is that? of course you know the answer. monkfish
What about a trip to the hospital to find out what kind of injuries have occurred? I've noticed in pictures Soldiers shooting in PRONE position, you don't do that with blanks. May be they are firing to Mame and not kill and therefore need an accurate shot. In which case maybe they should bring in snipers who would do a far better job.

Was it when they brooke into international meeting? Was it when they threatened to blow up a huge LPG tank in residential area and fought with people living there? Was it when they fought with local all across the city and finally shot someone, or ever three people? Was it when the declared a revolution, refused to follow countyr's laws and started a hunt for country's leaders?

Assuming the same people in Bangkok now wearing Red are roughly the same people that were part of the 100,000 a few days ago, then it has already been established that 90% of the Reds are from Bangkok and surrounding areas, not from Thaksin's region. Surprising isn't it?

rainman
Its time for the armed forces to end this tonight. With a strong forceful hand, but with as few casualties as necessary. How will that end it? The people that are demonstrating won't suddenly be happy and love Abhisit just because he killed a few of them.

LawnGnome
My thoughts and prayers are with all tonight protecting the capital, and all the innocents who are caught in the way, and for all of us, really. Lets hope things get resolved quickly and with as much restraint as practical. I am glad that PM Abihisit is in charge tonight, as opposed to PM Charlerm, PM Sanoh, PM Somchai, PM Samak, PM Pracha, PM Thaksin, or any of the other alternatives... No, but they'll learn that thug tactics aren't going to cut it anymore, and hopefully they'll realise that they're being used to fight one man's greedy fight. Are you hallucinating? I asked where it will end if he kills a few of them, like the post I was quoting suggested will happen tonight. How is that even anywhere remotely near an accusation? Phatcharanan
No need to worry about the army hurting people with their rifles. This is as reported on the BBC news website at 16.00 GMT. "Army spokesperson Colonel Sansern Kaewkamnerd said they were not firing real bullets. "If the protesters show that that they intend to hurt the officials, we will use military training rifles on them with blank bullets made from paper, which will not hurt the protesters."
