-after U.s. Homeland Security Approval=what Next?

Recommended Posts

My wife's immigrant visa application(I-130 Petition for Alien Relative) was approved and forwarded to the American embassy by Homeland Security. Can anyone please tell me what papers will be needed in the next stage of this process and how many more visits to the embassy to get the visa approved. Are there any more forms to fill out or is it just showing your residence address in the U. S. and evidence of support. Any information would be appreciated

Have never done so this is not complete and hopefully someone will post full current list or you may be able to find with a Google search.

Believe she will need birth certificate, home register, id card, passport, police report, finger print report (from FBI I believe) and your financial report and then an interview for visa.

She has submitted almost all of the items mentioned in your reply except for the financial report and FBI fingerprinting when the papers were handed into Homeland Security and then sent on to the U.S. embassy. I just want to know if other forms are required as I was not informed what to expect but to wait for an interview date.
