I found this story on the BangkokPost website and think it was interesting.

It actually shows what's wrong in Thai society (they are not the only one in this case, the US is also guilty) between what to expect and the reality. Of course, in Thailand, this gap is even more obvious.

It certainly shows reluctance by Government to cooperate and the rights of aliens won't amount to much at all. But it is really worth reading. Thank you Butterfly.
