I have encountered two women myself and know of another, who are so ticklish that they cannot be touched in any meaningful way with regard to intimacy. I have not encountered this problem with women back home & other Thai women I have known seem to not have this problem. One of my friends has told me he has the same problem with his wife for many years. Anyone have similar experience?

Yes, that is likely an avoidance response. However, one of them seems to enjoy bedroom time with me quite a lot, but sensitive touching she is not receptive to.
