Ja, es ist existent und die Logik ist hierbei, dass Auslaender vermeindlich mehr Geld als die Thais in der Tasche haben. Dennoch kommt es vor, wenn Du hier arbeitest und/oder die Sprache sprichst, man Dir als Auslaender den gleichen Preis gewaehrt.

Trotz allem ist der Ausdruck Rassismus in diesem Zusammenhang ein hartes Wort. Nicht die Rasse sondern die Nationalitaet ist ausschlaggebend.

Nun, deswegen Thailand auf Deine persoenliche schwarze Liste zu setzen steht Dir natuerlich frei, ist aber auch ein bisschen so, wie mit Kanonen auf Spatzen zu schiessen.

Well, it is true that the system exists and it is backed by the assuption that foreigners have generally more money to spend than Thais. Nevertheless, occasionally if someone works and/or speaks the local language he/she might get by with the same price as the Thais.

Using the expression "racism", however, appears to be a little far fetched in this context. Not race but nationality is the name of the game.

Putting Thailand for this on your personal blacklist is certainly your indidvidual decision but possibly a little bit on the side of overreacting.
