It would be better if she hadn't stopped what she was doing to look at the camera A great picture to show to friends. Your file sizes are to big for the forum though. yumidesign Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 this is not a good picture. the light is flat. which is not a bad thing if you are after detail, but here it does not work. there is no subject in the arrangement of the elements, the center of the frame is void for example if the rice was the subject, the rice in the cooker could have been in the foreground and the lady could have been in the background maybe even out of focus and worst of all you are looking down on the person and you should never do that in portraiture try this as an exercice photograph an any object with different lighting 1 with the light, eg sun light, behind the camera 2 with the light above the camera and 3 with the light in front of the camera, looking into the light, not directly or you will get flare and see which one is most interesting to you hope this helps some........ keep clicking Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
