I think as I kan not read Thai. ***** King Naresuan the Great’s statue has the gesture of the king sitting on the back of an elephant, situated near Boran Sathan Don Chedi. The statue was built in 1999 in Kanchanaburi by the donation from people around the country to pay respect to the king and to commemorate King Naresuan the Great’s excellence in defeating the enemy in the hand to hand fighting on elephant back to protect our nation in the Ayutthaya era. ***** If you are planning to go - call them first I think this will be held on the Suphan Buri road 324 if leaving Kan.
