I don't want that translation of God, as I want to give this prayer to Buddhists and it is as you say a Christian style - สิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ , I think would be better.

ช่วยข้าให้นำตนพ้นจากความยากลำบาก (Help me to deliver myself out of the difficulties)

I think the Buddhism holines guide the way not leadม give strength not transport. People's destiny is determine by Karma principle, cause - effect. ทำได้ได้ดี ทำชั่วได้ชั่ว.
